Is it required to rest the rifle against the barricade for a qual? I had a DS scream at me during a BWC bc i wasn’t resting my rifle on the barricade, saying it was mandatory to do even though i shot better unsupported. I’ve shot two other qualifiers where i didn’t use the barricade and the NCO‘s watching over us said it was fine.

I flew out of volk in 1990 to operation desert shield Flew back june 29 1991.
